The STIHL TSA 300 cordless cut-off machine is a serious bit of kit, built for professionals who need dependable cutting performance without the drawbacks of petrol. Designed for use in construction, hardscaping and pipework, it handles tough materials such as concrete, reinforced concrete, bricks, natural stone and rebar with confidence.

Fitted with a 12” (300 mm) cutting wheel as standard, the TSA 300 delivers strong cutting performance straight out of the box. For more demanding or prolonged work, it’s well worth pairing it with a diamond cutting wheel, which will stand up better over time and keep productivity high.

What sets this machine apart is its precision and smooth operation. With far less vibration than petrol equivalents, it produces a narrow cutting kerf, resulting in cleaner, more accurate cuts. Performance is comparable to the STIHL TS 410 petrol model, yet with the added benefits of battery power. A maximum cutting depth of 110 mm (4.3") gives you the reach needed for most site work.

Powered by a brushless EC motor, the TSA 300 runs quietly and efficiently, with low vibration and minimal wear. The magnetic filter system is a practical addition, capturing metal dust before it reaches internal components. It’s easy to remove and clean, helping maintain performance and extend the machine’s working life.

Safety and efficiency are well thought through. The fast-stop brake brings the wheel to a halt in under 4 seconds once the trigger is released, while also feeding energy back into the battery to improve overall runtime. The LED display keeps you informed with operating data, including speed and overheating warnings.

Being battery-powered, the TSA 300 produces zero direct emissions and low noise, making it suitable for indoor use where petrol machines simply aren’t practical.

For best results, it should be used with the STIHL AP 500 S battery, delivering up to 20 minutes of working time on a full charge. Lower-capacity batteries can be used, but performance will be reduced.
